Fat Boy!!

If Jenna could understand what people were saying when they spoke to her, she would think that she is a "Fat Boy" and would have major self-esteem issues. The other day at dinner my husband and I just sat down and our waitress came over and saw Jenna and said "your chunky aren't you?". I was a little offended and Chad says "oh, it's not that bad, she's a baby". Well, then the next time the waitress comes over she says, "hey little chunky monkey". And this time Chad says "Now that's crossing the line." Then as I was strolling through Hobby Lobby some grandma came up to Jenna and said "You're a fat baby aren't you?". Geez, do you have to say it like that. I know she's chubby but aren't there better ways to say it. Then at the mall today, some old grandpa is trying to look in my stroller, so I stop and show him the baby and he says, "is that a boy?" Which is fine, sometimes it's hard to tell... but then he says, "well, she looks like a boy." What the heck do you say to that? So, I am really happy that Jenna has no idea what all these people are saying to her face. That's the beauty of babies, if someone is smiling at them and saying the meanest things ever it doesn't matter. They just smile back. Thank goodness Jenna can't speak english yet or she'd have a major complex!!!
